The Brazos Valley Pavilion

Advanced Healthcare for Women

We’re excited to announce the expansion of our women’s services in a new location at College Station Hospital: The Brazos Valley Pavilion for Women. By moving our women’s and pediatrics services exclusively to this location, we are able to provide the latest medical resources, including our OB Hospitalist program, gynecology services, 24/7 anesthesiologists, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital that allows us to care for more babies locally when they need a higher level of care or specialized treatment. We offer solid science — wrapped in warmth, compassion, and love. Perfectly designed for women and their babies.

Now Open at College Station Hospital

All labor and delivery, postpartum, neonatal, pediatric inpatient services, and women’s services have moved from St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan to the new Brazos Valley Pavilion at College Station Hospital. Our current patients will be able to continue to see their same physicians at this new location. With more room and more resources, this expansion into The Brazos Valley Pavilion means the most innovative care will not only be the most experienced in the region, it also offers the most access close to home.

  • OB Hospitalist Program (24/7 OB physicians in house)
  • 24/7 Anesthesiologists on site
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Partnership With Texas Children’s Hospital
  • Private NICU Rooms
  • Gynecology and Robotic Gynecology Services
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities Family Rooms

Yes, we support low-intervention birthing for expectant mothers at St. Joseph Health. The low-intervention birthing environment is available in all of our labor and delivery rooms at our new location. For more information, please contact our Maternity Services team.

Yes, our lactation consultant visits all patients after their delivery and during their stay with us. In addition, we offer lactation classes through our Healthy Communities office. Learn more here.

Yes, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas offers the same programs, Family Rooms, and Happy Wheels Cart in both of our hospitals. These services will remain available to our patients.

Unfortunately, having this service at both hospitals is not feasible. Therefore, all women’s services, including maternity, gynecology, and pediatrics, are now only available at our College Station Hospital.

Our NICU services and capabilities will remain and we will continue our relationship with Texas Children's Hospital. We are currently working toward our Level III NICU accreditation. When we move, we will upgrade to 13 private NICU beds for newborns born at 26 weeks and above, with additional space for well babies
