Summer 2015 Teen Volunteer Program
Thank you for your interest in our Teen Volunteer Program at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Our teen program offers volunteer opportunities for youth age 14-17 years old. You must be 14 years old by June
15, 2015, in order to participate in our program.
Please read carefully: We are offering one 8-week session from June 15 – August 7. You are required to volunteer for, at least, one shift per week (shifts are 3 to 4 hours depending on assignment) and may not be absent for more than two weeks during the summer session. Shifts will be offered Monday – Friday between 7 am and 6 pm.
RETURNING Teens do not need to reapply. If our summer program fits with your schedule, please click HERE to update your information for the summer 2015 program.
New Teen Applicants:
Attending orientation is mandatory and accepted applicants will have two options to choose from:
- Monday, June 1, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
- Saturday, June 6, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

To apply to our program, items 1 through 3 below must be received in our office no later than April 24, 2015. Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

One (1) non-family member recommendation letter.
A 500 – 600 word, typed essay in which the applicant answers this question: “What is your most valued personal possession and why?”
Please complete your online application (this will automatically be transmitted to us) and then submit together your letter of recommendation and your essay to:

Applicants who have submitted their reference and essay will be contacted by email or phone to set up an after school interview (week of April 27th).
