Group for parents of children with AD/HD meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Adults with AD/HD meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Both groups meet at the Christ United Methodist Church Annex Building (4203 Highway 6 South). Alzheimer's Support Group - Open Arms This caregiving support group is designed for family members, caregivers, and friends of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. This group provides members an opportunity to discuss caregiving challenges and share helpful tips, while receiving support from others who are in similar situations. All support groups are facilitated by a trained leader, are confidential, free of charge, and open to the public. This is a non-denominational group, that meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm. At the Peace Lutheran Church in College Station (2201 Rio Grande Blvd, College Station, TX 77845).
Autism - Families of Autistic Children Engaged Together for Support (FACETS) Is a parent run support group and our goal is to offer social opportunities, support, and educational resources for families of individuals on the autism spectrun, as well as for the Bryan-College Station community. Bariatric Surgery Support Group
This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the St. Joseph Professional Building, Suite 140 Classroom from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Brazos Valley Mother's of Twins
This group gives mother's of multiples the opportunity to meet other mothers and discuss the challenges and wonderful opportunities involved in raising multiples! In addtion to monthly meetings, they also have playdates, monthly MOMs Night Out and other events. If you live in the Brazos Valley area and you are expecting twins, have twins or more mulitples, please join them for fun and fellowship. Meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Quilter's Café at the St. Joseph Rehab. Preemie Prints NICU H.O.P.E. (Helping Other Parents Endure) Support Group
Meets the first Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Executive Boardroom (1st floor of main entrance) at The Med. This is an informal, peer-based group connecting past and present NICU families in a hope filled positive atmosphere. Dinner is always provided by a local sponsor. Family members are also welcome. Current NICU families will receive a NICU gift bag containing information, restaurant gift cards, and other items for mom & baby! Time Like Hannah's (Breastfeeding Support Group)
A free Christian support group for breastfeeding mothers led by a board certified lactation consultant. Group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month, 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Rivergate Chruch, 2608 E. Villa Maria Road, Bryan, TX. (Rivergate is the church located beside Wee Little Me at the corner of Villa Maria and Nash. Enter church at the front.
