The staff at St. Joseph Occupational Health Services would like to introduce you to our Work-site Health Screening, one of the many services that we offer. This service is an excellent tool in the prevention and management of employee health issues.

We offer a variety of packages to meet your company’s budget and the needs you have to impact the health of your employees.

The Personal Wellness Profile is our flagship report for you and your employees.

After screening your staff, we will compile a customized Personal Wellness Profile™ for each employee. A Personal Wellness Profile™ is a 7-page report outlining the individual’s overall health status. In 7-10 days after completing the questionnaire and assessment, participants will receive a detailed, personalized profile mailed directly to their home.

  • Good health indicators - those positive steps that the employee is already taking towards good health
  • What actions can be taken to improve health status
  • Illness prevention - including coronary and cancer health as well as safety issues
  • Nutrition information
  • Exercise recommendations
  • Other important health and medical information such as stress and substance abuse issues
  • Gender specific health issues and recommendations
  • Health age - how old your body really is

    The Executive Summary:

For groups with at least 40 employees completing the Personal Wellness Profile™, an Executive Summary can be prepared for employers to assist them in planning health promotion and disease prevention programs. The Executive Summary outlines demographics, major health risks, health status, and health age of the participating employees as a whole. The confidentiality of each individual participant will be maintained. The summary also details intervention strategies and recommended actions to be taken by you, the employer, for a healthier work force and the positive economic impact that these intervention strategies can have to your bottom line.

Participants will be required to fast 12 hours prior to having their blood drawn for the cholesterol and glucose tests. Fasting means no food and only water to drink. The questionnaires can be filled out in 8 to 10 minutes, and may be filled out a head of time or the day of the Work-site Health Screening.

St. Joseph Occupational Health Services can also provide immunizations and other periodic screening services. These can provide added health benefits to your employees and cost savings to you as an employer.
