Scott & White and SJRHC recognized both the need for a higher level of pediatric care in the Brazos Valley and increased accessibility for local pediatric patients, thus forming a partnership to support Children's Miracle Network Brazos Valley.
Scott and White President and CEO, Alfred B. Knight, M.D., said the partnership with SJRHC will benefit local children and strengthen the relationship between the two hospitals. "We are pleased to be working together through Children’s Miracle Network to enhance local care for kids and bring national notoriety to the quality care being provided to kids in Brazos Valley."
Jack Buckley, St. Joseph Regional Health Center CEO, says that both organizations have long shared a commitment to children's health services. "This relationship is for the kids. It’s about the desire our two organizations have, with support from community physicians, to better serve the medical needs of children here in the Brazos Valley. High-quality care as close to home as possible is the most ideal situation for sick children and their parents."
