Every year, St. Joseph offers a variety of community health screening programs. They include:

Heart Score
A reduced-price cholesterol and blood pressure screening program offered at St. Joseph Healthy Communities in Bryan as well as in all rural health clinics. This program is held every February. Please call St. Joseph Healthy Communities for more information - (979) 731-1231.

Reduced - Price Mammography
This program offers a reduced-price mammography screen to first-time recipients who call in the month of October. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please call St. Joseph Women's Diagnostic Services for more information - (979) 776-4927.

2006 Colorectal Cancer Screening
During the week of May 22-27, Brazos Valley residents can pick up a FREE colorectal cancer screening kit from their local Wal-Mart pharmacy. Participating Wal-Marts include Bryan, College Station, Caldwell, Madisonville, and Navasota. Kits should be returned to Wal-Mart by June 9 and results will be mailed.
