History

St. Joseph Emergency Medical Services (SJEMS) was established in 1998 as the combination of multiple services into one. The combination of Burleson St. Joseph's EMS out of Caldwell, and Madison St. Joseph's EMS in Madisonville and a new service started in the Bryan/College Station area comprises the SJEMS family as of today.

SJEMS realizes that emergency medical services and medical transportation encompasses more than taking the sick and injured to the hospital. We must continue to strive and meet the daily, and unusual, needs of our customers and clients. Providing medical transportation and primary medical care is an important part of our communities, and we will constantly seek new ways to provide those benefits to the patients that we serve.
