Communications Center

St. Joseph EMS utilizes our own Regional Communications and Referral Center. This system is devised to be a "one call" stop for individuals and agencies requesting services.

The Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week and has the capability to have multiple Specialists on duty at any one time in the event of call volume increase. Communications Specialists utilize a sophisticated Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) program to receive and dispatch calls. All information concerning the system and calls in progress is maintained through this integral network.
