Family Medicine Residency, Floyd Residency Program
Dr. Lee Ann Howell Loup returns to the Brazos Valley and her home state of Texas after several years as an urgent care and primary care doctor in Rome, Georgia.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Loup enjoys the rewarding relationships formed with patients from babies to seniors. She works with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans in all areas of medicine. Dr. Loup is especially interested in sports medicine, preventative medicine, dermatology and women’s health. In Georgia, she was a certified Mammacare Breast Specialist at The Breast Center at Floyd Medical Center, where she received specialized training in breast care and breast cancer.
Dr. Loup grew up on a ranch in small-town east Texas and played basketball and volleyball in school. She graduated Texas A&M University Magna Cum Laude and represented the school as Miss Aggieland in the Miss Texas USA Pageant. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
In her free time, Dr. Loup loves spending time with her family. The Loups are self-proclaimed “foodies” who enjoy live music, traveling, fishing and are avid Aggie football fans. She and her husband have two young daughters and a golden retriever.
