A high school trip to a Russian orphanage inspired Dr. Gabriel Neal to become a doctor. After receiving early acceptance to medical school during his junior year at Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Neal attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He also completed a Master's program in Bioethics from Trinity International University.
He was attracted to St. Joseph because of the quality of physicians and St. Joseph’s Christian heritage that promotes life-affirming values. He believes the St. Joseph Difference is quality care derived from the belief that every person is created equally in God’s image.
Dr. Neal says he became a family medicine practitioner because he enjoys seeing people of all ages become healthy. He also has a passion for delivering babies and helping moms and dads bring new life into the world.
A native of both southern New Mexico and Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Neal likes to fish and compete in triathlons. He is also an avid reader and enjoys the Bible, classics, C.S. Lewis and Tolkien. Dr. Neal and his wonderful wife, Stacy, have three children.
