Resturant Guide

If you enjoy eating out and still want to maintain a healthy diet, Best Bets Restaurant Guide to Low Fat Dining in the Brazos Valley is for you!

Written by Registered Dietian, Linda Kapusniak, the easy-to-use spiral book is an alphabetical guide to healthy eating at over 100 Bryan-College Station restaurants from Applebee's to Wings 'N More. It also covers sandwich shops like Must Be Heaven, pizza parlors like Double Dave's, fast food establishments like McDonald's, as well as specialty eateries like Jamba Juice and Smoothie King. Included in the book are tips on how to avoid unhealthy fat and extra calories at area resturants by providing you with the facts on how your food is prepared and suggestions to make it more healthy.

"Best Bets Restaurant Guide" also has tables in the back of the book to help you shop for heart healthy foods at the grocery store, to show you how to modify family favorite recipes to make them lower in fat and still taste great, as well as list the fat and calorie content of favorite restaurant fares.

The guide is a big help for busy individuals and families who have little time to prepare meals.

The Dining Guide can be found and purchased at many local retailers, including:
