Justin Brazeal, MD
Justin Brazeal, MD '02 is a Texas Aggie. He went on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and then the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he was Chief Administrative Resident. Dr. Brazeal joined St. Joseph Orthopaedic Associates in 2012. Dr. Brazeal and his wife recently added a baby boy to their family.
Joseph J. Iero, MD
Joseph Iero, MD is a Baylor Bear who completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Iero speaks Italian and enjoys Italian wine and cuisine. He and his wife have five children.
Mark B. Riley, MD
Mark Riley, MD is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed an orthopedic internship and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and a fellowship in reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee at Gaston Episcopal Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Riley lives in Bryan with his wife, Jane, and their three children. He enjoys running, biking, and photography.
Barry L. Veazey, MD
Barry Veazey, MD '84 is a Texas Aggie, who went on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he completed his MD program. From there, Dr. Veazey went to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed an orthopedic internship and residency. He completed his final year of residency as the Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery. He is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoys running, gardening, and reading.
Anthony Zissimos, MD
Anthony Zissimos, MD received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of California, Davis. Following medical school he served as a resident in Orthopedic Surgery also at Davis. After completion of his fellowship, Dr. Zissimos and his family moved to Lake Tahoe, California where he and his wife owned and operated Sierra Tahoe Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for 14 years. In addition to caring for many of our nation's elite skiers and snowboarders, he was active in establishing sports injury prevention programs at local high schools and ski resorts.
